The Scrap Blanket (WIP)
Yarn: Yes.
Hook: I (5.5mm)
Specs: Infinite
Pattern: Freehanded
Thoughts:

Construction: Moss stitch worked in the round. Chain and turning is obnoxious both with these stitches and with all the scrappy, mismatched ends; so I'm just letting the spiral happen. Also when I restarted it, I added the orange center. It was just too hard to get started with the bernat blanket yarn LOL. In its previous form, it was rows of half-double crochets.

There's some chunky, some super chunky, some light, some fingering, maybe a lace or two in there. In September 2023 I frogged and restarted it working in the round. Now all the ends are a bit better secured, and the blanket as a whole will always be proportionate. Since the beginning I cut up and scattered larger scraps to make it look more chaotic; so it's not truly chronological, only generally. I like this blanket because it actually has a lot of scraps from my grandmother's yarn -- it's an archive of now-extinct vintage yarns. It's also a diary of current day yarns I've felt drawn to at different points. I can still look at most of them and remember their project(s.)

Lessons Learned: This was a bad idea.
