Hook: H (5mm)
Specs: large idk lol
Pattern: Moss Stitch Shawl by Sarah Zimmerman
Thoughts:

I hate it lol. Originally I wanted to knit a sontag, but wasn't sure. Then I was free-handing a mesh cardigan. Then I started a mobius shawl*. Then I was so over it and made the triangle. It's complete and this was definitely just enjoying the process more than the finished project. I don't know what I'll do with this. It's currently on a teddy bear.

I got this yarn because it was on clearance. I don't hate the colorway (I liked it enough to buy it) but I probably should have gone for something else. I'm a boring person, I should just accept it LOL. I've learned since finishing this: shawls you can wrap around your torso multiple times and tie have to be done in a fine, meshy, stretchy fabric. IE not DK weight moss stitch. So...I can't do the one thing I thought I would like about a shawl. It's my fault I accept it, I'm just so annoyed at myself LMAO. Perhaps in the future I'll frog it and it'll have a new life.

*I actually LOVED how it was looking! But I realized (at the second photo) that with a mobius in a not-very-stretchy stitch, you're gradually getting narrower as you're losing more and more inches to the thickness of the twist. I also tried it on as a skirt at this stage and it was actually really cute, disregarding how un-wearable it was. I've noticed that there's not much going on in terms of knit/crochet skirts; I'd like to make one of some style, some day.

Lessons Learned: I do not like triangle shawls.
