Snowflakes/Snowflake Swap was originally created by CuteCountryGraphics almost 30 years ago. I think this was before the actual term "pixel club" but that's exactly what it was, as you were meant to share and adopt snowflakes with others. Unfortunately, while it was presumably the central hub, CCG's website is mostly lost to time.
I find them a charming little nugget of the internet's history, so I made this page to both save the old ones, and act as a host for any new ones.
In 2023 it had a micro-revival, when the 32-Bit Cafe supplied the snowflake outline as a part of their holiday event. (Which I had nothing to do with beyond a submission - it just feels wrong to not include them here)
Archived Snowflakes
I've done my best to get a credit for each image, but some lack links, and a couple even names :(. If you adopt one of these; do your best with what we have. Consider linking back here for context, worst case.
SUBMIT A SNOWFLAKE
1.) Use the template above to make your image, .PNG or .GIF preferably.
2.) Send a link to your page, and a link to your snowflake image to either my guestbook or my neocities profile.
3.) If you adopt anybody else's snowflake, you must link back to their page.
DESIGN TIPS
The template is 49px wide X 55px tall, and that's the standard size for snowflakes to fit on a rack. I'll accept ones that don't quite align but I will ask you try to keep the general idea.
You don't have to put a center line to make it look like it's hanging. Feel free to stick to the template or make something entirely from scratch. They don't have to be winter or holiday themed, they can simply be a snowflake-shaped frame for whatever you want. It's YOUR snowflake (SFW please, though :') )
EXTRA GRAPHICS

Two racks to hang your snowflakes from, by CCG and Didy, respectively.

Three spacers to go between snowflakes, all made by me; and two designed to match CCG and Didy's racks.
You do not have to hang your snowflake collection, I've just shared these as an extra option.
ALIGNING SNOWFLAKES UNDER A RACK
In the past, it seems most people hard coded each image into an absolute position in order to eliminate any space (because there is inherient space between "lines" vertically in html)
The easiest method that I can think of in current day to achieve this is to put them in a div styled with "font-size: 0", and don't allow it to get wider than 4 snowflakes. Be aware that the strands of the rack are drawn for zero spacing; so don't put spaces/linebreaks between images. If you align your text to left or right, you can have fewer than 4 on the final row.
